My name is Dennis Lee and this is my blog. People find me to be a personable Technology Professional whose diverse technical and professional abilities can help any organization meet and exceed their business objectives. From a technical prospective, I am knowledgeable in programming, networks, advanced graphic design, Microsoft Infrastructures and server technologies, security, technical writing and project management.

I am probably more known for my work with UAG and TMG because I’ve been deploying these products for over 4 years now.  I worked with many enterprise organizations to ensure they are making the right decisions when choosing our products and to help them from start to end with the deployment process.

The purpose of the blog is to share my story with everyone. And with my stories, I hope you can build the best and most secure network out there using Microsoft Forefront Security and related Microsoft Server products.

Is it possible that you can configure UAG to allow traffic to bypass UAG authentication for certain urls? The user really only needs to be authenticated in the web and then the application will handle anonymous authentication to certian urls, so if the uag proxy would just allow requests to go through to those sites?

      Hi Mikhail,

You will need to use multiple trunks if you want to by pass authentication for certian applications. The idea would be to provide a link to the other trunk for those applications that you dont want authentication to occur.

You can do this by using the web application templates and providing fake information. The only thing important to you will be the “portal link” in which you can address the other trunk.
